What is a Location?

A Location is the address or geographical area that you will add Assets, Sensors and Controllers to.

This is a compulsory element that you will need to set up ahead of setting up any thing else in the Autumn. A Location helps you to quickly and simply filter to find the Sensors and Controllers that belong to a Location as well as dig deeper into the data that a Location is able to provide. 

Using the map functionality you will be able to precisely define the boundaries of your Location for greater accuracy. 

It is up to you how you choose what is a Location versus an Asset as this should be defined on how you want to use the data in future. Examples of a Location include: A property, field/paddock, retail/commercial space or vehicle.
